No one in my family before me ever had any affiliation with racing. I am the first. With no karting background I came into racing with no race craft experience all I had ever raced before was Nitro Radio Controlled cars so it wasn't the most conventional way that most people would start their racing career.Late 2009 I took part in my first rallycross race in 1000cc Nissan Micra and did very well. I continued on in the 2009/2010 season doing very well. We then saw there was a new junior race series 'Ginetta Junior Ireland' this is going to be a big test,. My first season was a great success finishing 4th on track racing. In my second season of Ginetta Junior Ireland I had some great battles and I finished 2nd overall just missing out on the top step. In the 2012 season I was now too old for the Junior class so I stepped it up to the big boys racing against all the experienced driver who have been racing for years and I mixed it up big time. I showed them I wasn't afraid of a tight close battle. I had a 1st and a 2nd place finish in my first two races of the season and I knew it was going to be a hard fought season. The championship was down to the wire all the way to the last race of the season. I had a bit of bad luck and was just unable to do anything about it and I finished 2nd in the Gloabal GT Light championship. In October of 2012 we made the decision to race in the prestigious Formula Ford festival in Brand's Hatch in Kent. We were run by the very experienced Morgan Dempsey who helped me get on the pace after very minimal amount of testing. When we arrived at Brand's Hatch we were almost directly on the pace and running up the front in testing running up to the event at the weekend. We had a bit of unfortunate luck in the semi final but had a great time. We are competing in Formula Ford 1600 in 2013 again with (MCP) Morgan Dempsey in Ireland and also in the UK for a couple of rounds.
